One of my good friends, with whom I cycle with often, went to Southeast Asia this summer to volunteer at a dental clinic. The clinic is actually housed on a United States Navy vessel and travels to different harbors where the impoverished can come aboard and have dental work done for free. His bicycle broke during finals week this spring quarter. So, me and my good friend Stanley from
velo-science took it upon ourselves to fix it up for him while he's gone, so that he'll be back riding again as soon as he comes back. It was definitely the least we could do to pay it forward.
